Missing 85-year-old Flushing man found in good health: cops

Police have found the 85-year-old Flushing man who went missing Monday afternoon.

A Silver Alert was issued  for Michael Sakis , who only speaks Greek, on Aug. 18 after he was last seen inside his residence, wearing blue jeans, a blue polo shirt and brown shoes, according to police.

According to police, Sakis was found in good health.

A silver alert has been issued for a missing Queens man last seen yesterday morning in Briarwood.

Hong Sheng Zhang, 78, went missing at 11:30 a.m. yesterday near the intersection of Queens Boulevard and Main Street.

Zhang, who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, is 5-feet-3-inches tall, 120 pounds, with grey shaved hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a waist length green jacket, a white and yellow baseball hat and yellow pants.

Anyone with information on Zhang’s whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1.

Silver alert issued for elderly Queens woman

Police are looking for a missing woman who was last seen at her Long Island City home on Tuesday, September 25 around 2 p.m.

Raquel Yeyille, 71, is described as a Hispanic woman, about age 40, 5’2”, 200 pounds with light brown eyes and light brown hair, police said. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a yellow T-shirt with “JP Morgan” written on the front.

The NYPD has issued a silver alert for Yeyille.  According to police, the 71-year-old suffers from Alzheimer’s and has no identification on her.

Anyone with information on Yeyille’s whereabouts is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.

Victor Torres  102 pct silver alert

The NYPD has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Woodhaven man.

Victor Torres, 77, was last seen on Tuesday, March 27 at 1:30 p.m. near 76th Street and Atlantic Avenue. He was wearing a blue hat, blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and blue and white sneakers.

Torres suffers from dementia and high blood pressure.

He is described as 5-feet-7-inches tall, 150 pounds with white hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on the missing’s whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1.



Elderly woman missing in Astoria

114 Pct Silver Alert Missing

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding an elderly Astoria woman last seen on January 3.

Delia Francis, 88, was last seen at her apartment on 24th Street in Astoria at approximately 6 p.m. on Tuesday, wearing a multi-colored sweat shirt, black ski cap with a “New York” logo, short powder blue pants, long black coat and black penny loafers.

The missing is described as a black female, 5-feet-4-inches tall, 85-pounds, with brown eyes and short grey hair.

Elderly Kew Gardens man missing; Silver alert issued

Police are looking for a 65-year-old man with Alzheimer’s who was last seen on Monday, October 10 at his home in Kew Gardens.

Stephen Moore, who also suffers from diabetes and cardio vascular disease requires medication and a home care attendant.

Police have issued a silver alert.

Moore is 5-feet-11-inches tall and weighs approximately 160-pounds. He was last seen wearing a yellow t-shirt, beige pants with a blue cap and glasses.
