Rent-stabilized tenants get highest hike since 2008

The city’s Rent Guidelines Board voted Thursday to increase rents on rent-stabilized apartments by 4 percent for one-year leases and 7.75 percent for two-year leases. The increases will apply to renewal leases commencing on or after October 1, 2013 and on or before September 30, 2014.
