Three men arrested in fatal Corona bar stabbing

Three men have been arrested in connection with two stabbings at a Corona bar, which left one victim dead and one injured, said police.

On July 29, at around 4:28 a.m., police found two victims, both in their twenties, with stab wounds to the back and chest at Manila Bar and Restaurant on Roosevelt Avenue. Both were transported to Elmhurst Hospital, where the first victim was pronounced dead. The second victim is listed in stable condition.

Jesus Astimbay, 27, of Queens was charged with manslaughter for the bar attack. He was also charged with assault and criminal possesion of a weapon along with Juan Guanaquesa, 26 and John Espinoza, 17, both also from Queens.
