A man repeatedly punched his ex-girlfriend on a Queens subway train earlier this week while she had her baby daughter harnessed to her chest, authorities said.

The assault happened during a dispute between the suspect, identified by police as Marqual Ward, and his ex on a Manhattan-bound E train at about 7:45 p.m. on Monday, cops said.

As they were arguing somewhere between the Sutphin Boulevard-Archer Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue stations the victim tried to walk away and Ward punched her several times in the face, causing substantial pain and bruising.

At the time, the victim had her 2-month-old daughter strapped to her chest, according to police, who could not say if the Ward was the child’s father.

Authorities have released a photo of Ward and describe him as black, 22 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 170 pounds, with brown eyes and long blonde dreadlocks. He has tattoos of a teardrop and red star on his face.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.

A 2-year-old girl was left unattended inside a private bus on a Corona street when the driver left, reportedly, to go home.

The girl was found alone on the bus at approximately 9 a.m. Thursday morning, according to authorities.  Police were called and were able to get onto the bus and take the infant to the 110th Precinct where she was examined by EMS.  The girl was determined to be in good physical condition and was reunited with her mother at the station.

Police arrested the bus driver, Ana Garcia, 62, of Corona, and charged her with failure to exercise control of a minor.

The New York Post reported that Garcia parked on the street so she could stop by her house.  The girl was unattended for about 15 minutes, the paper said.
