Video: Burglar takes $40K from Bayside gas station

A burglar filled up his vehicle with a load of cash after breaking into a Bayside gas station over the weekend, according to police.

The burglary happened about 12:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Gulf station at 79-10 Springfield Blvd., near 50th Avenue.

After the suspect — a black male — exited his gray vehicle, he walked up to the station, forcibly entered the office and took $40,000, authorities said. The suspect then fled in the car with another unknown male.

Police have released video footage of the break-in and the car used by the suspect.

Cops looking for duo in Bayside home break-in

A pair of wannabe burglars, who broke into a Bayside home last week, got away without the goods but not before one of them was caught on camera, according to police.

The break-in occurred on June 11 at about 5:30 p.m. in a residence near 23rd Avenue and 206th Street, authorities said.

A female suspect working with a male suspect forcibly entered the home, but fled before taking any property, according to police. They both escaped in a late model Nissan Versa with out-of-state license plates.

Authorities did not have a description of the male suspect, but said the female perp is white or Hispanic, in her 50s, with long black hair, and was last seen wearing a white top, black jeans and black sandals.

Burglar wanted for breaking into Sunnyside pizzeria

A burglar was caught on camera after he busted through the door of a Sunnyside pizza shop and raided the eatery’s cash register over the weekend, police said.

The break-in took place about 2:30 a.m. on Sunday at Lenny’s Pizza located at 44-08 Greenpoint Ave. near 47th Avenue.

According to authorities, the suspect kicked in the front glass door of the restaurant before taking $500 from a cash register and fleeing on foot.

The adult male suspect was last seen wearing a striped polo shirt, baseball cap, jeans and white sneakers.

Police hunt burglars in western Queens

Authorities are searching for the suspects — including one apparently relaxed lookout — wanted in two separate break-ins of residences in Woodside and Sunnyside last week.

1256-15 108 precinct Burg 5-29-15 (1)The first incident occurred just after 5 p.m. on Friday at a second-floor apartment on 48th Avenue in Sunnyside, according to police.

The suspect — described as a Hispanic male standing about 5 feet 8 inches and weighing about 190 pounds with black hair and wearing a striped shirt — accessed the apartment by climbing the fire escape and opening an unlocked window, cops said. He then took an IWC watch and $300 in cash.

In an unrelated incident, on Sunday at about 2:45 p.m., two men were involved in the burglary of a private residence located on 37th Avenue in Woodside, authorities said.

One of the suspects allegedly broke into the home through a rear basement door, while another male acted as a lookout in the front of the residence. The suspects then stole electronics and jewelry before fleeing.

Suspect stole $8K from truck parked on Astoria street: cops

A man stole thousands in cash from a truck while the driver was making a delivery in Astoria last month, police said.

The suspect broke into the vehicle at about 3 p.m. on Sept. 27.

The 25-year-old driver parked the Hino truck on the corner of Broadway and 35th Street and was making a delivery to an area business when the suspect took $8,000 from the vehicle’s center console, authorities said.

Police said the suspect was wearing eyeglasses a knit hat and a blue sweatshirt at the time of the break-in.

Police release video of suspects in Queens rooftop break-ins

Cops have released a video in connection to the burglaries of multiple Queens businesses.

The footage shows the suspects cashing in lottery tickets inside a Brooklyn bodega at 296 New Lots Ave on Feb. 27, according to police.

The suspects are wanted in connection to seven thefts that took place between Dec. 14 and Feb. 20 in the WoodhavenJamaicaSouth Richmond HillOzone Park and South Ozone Park sections of the borough, the NYPD said.

In each of the burglaries, one or more suspects break in through the roof or air conditioning vent and steal cash, according to police.  Lotto tickets and calling cards were also taken during some of the thefts.

Last month, police released a video from the latest burglary, which took place about 11 p.m. on Feb. 20 at the Pioneer Supermarket at 90-01 Jamaica Ave. in Woodhaven. A thousand dollars in cash and approximately $600 worth of phone cards went missing from the supermarket after the suspect broke in through the roof, cops said.

Police seek South Richmond Hill thieves

Police are seeking two suspects, they say robbed a South Richmond Hill home.

On Thursday, February 2, the two men broke into a home on 125th Street and removed cash, jewelry and electronics, according to police.  The break in occurred between 2 and 7 p.m.

The suspects are described as black or Hispanic males.
