“God will make you pay.”

Chilling words from a man who would go on to kill his stepdaughter and critically wound his estranged wife on Monday, December 5, the day their divorce trial was set to begin.

Police say Guerino Annarumma, 52, is facing charges of murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon after shooting 57-year-old Olga Borodina Annrumma once in the head and her daughter, 25-year-old Valeria Kuzmina Lowery, four times in the head and torso. Lowery later died from her injuries, while her mother is expected to survive.

The shootings took place in their home on 38th Street near 23rd Avenue in Astoria at 8:50 a.m.

In a blog dated June of this year, Annarumma posted numerous violent and hate-filled entries directed at his wife and especially his stepdaughter, who he blamed for ruining his marriage and his reputation.

“But you destroyed everything, my life and my reputation,” he wrote. “You are going to pay for whatever you did. I don’t play no games.”

Olga Annrumma had taken out numerous orders of protections against her husband, the latest of which expired in March of this year. The couple, estranged since 2009, had been married for close to six years and their divorce trial was to have begun at 2 p.m. Monday, December 5 in Queens Supreme Court.

Many of the madman’s online rants were also directed at his wife, of whom he said “for 10 years I sacrificed to do good things but in 1 and a half minutes you called police, you ruined my reputation and my dream.”

Neighbors said that they were shocked to hear about an incident like this in their neighborhood, but some were not surprised to hear who pulled off the vicious attack.

“I was sleeping, but when I woke up and threw my garbage away I saw a whole bunch of cars and vans around my house,” said a female resident of 38th Street. “I’ve lived on this block since I was 12 years old. This is a very good neighborhood. The police said that the daughter wasn’t talking but the mother said that her ex-husband shot her. Thank God she was alive to say that much.”
