Name: Ryan J. Walsh, Esq.
Company: Law Office Of Ryan J. Walsh
Title: Attorney
1. What do you love about your job and why?

The one thing I love most about being a real estate attorney is the joy I see when a first- time home buyer makes his first purchase. It is a very good feeling to know that I have been a small part in making their lifelong dream of home ownership come true. It is humbling to know that a first-time home buyer would put their trust in me and my office to guide and protect them through the process. I have been instrumental in educating many of these families of governmental credits and grants available that make home ownership affordable. It is a great feeling to see the new home buyer receive the keys to their first home.

2. What are your business goals over the next five years?

My business plan over the next five years is to continue to provide exceptional legal and individual service to my clients. I intend to expand the firm’s client services to include landlord, tenant and real estate litigation matters. I will continue to offer pro bono educational seminars, informing families of the many available government programs that can make the dream of home ownership a reality. I will remain focused on building a professional and well-rounded real estate boutique to better service our clients’ needs.

3. How do you give back to the community?

I give back to the community by providing pro bono legal services to individuals who may not have economic means to afford to hire an attorney. I sit on the Board of Neighborhood Housing Services, a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to revitalize underserved neighborhoods by creating and preserving affordable housing. In addition, I was an active Board Member of Community Board 11 where I worked on community issues on a daily basis.
