1. What do you love about your job and why?

I love interacting with people from various communities and helping them to enrich their lives. It is truly a joy, working with the children and seeing how much they grow over the years they spend with us. One of my favorite resources that my agency brings to families is Cool Culture. Cool Culture is a program that allows families to enter 90 cultural institutions throughout the five boroughs for free. This program allows families to enjoy the arts on a regular basis. It also teaches families how to engage their children while they are enjoying the different exhibits.

2. What are your business goals over the next five years?

I plan to obtain a third masters degree in Education & Special Education. Once I complete my masters in Education & Special Ed, I hope to attain my Ph.D. in policy. Acquiring these degrees will allow me to continue to grow as an administrator at my agency.

3. How do you give back to the community?

Through my job and my personal life, I am very active in the community. One of the reasons I love my position is because I am in various neighborhoods on a daily basis. I also love that through my job I am able to be a voice for the people we serve and have animpact in the policies that affect their lives.
