1. What do you love about your job and why?

I love my job. My favorite part about my job is helping people in need and addressing important issues and concerns that matter to our community. As a local leader, it is my role to move city agencies to do their part to improve our neighborhoods. This includes working with the Department of Education to strengthen our local schools, making sure our seniors are receiving vital services from the Department of Aging and providing public safety that will keep families secure.

2. What are your business goals over the next five years?

One of my primary goals is to foster economic growth within the neighborhoods I represent in three main ways:
It is important to foster the development of Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) among all of our communities’ business districts as well as protect and develop the local job-generating businesses that already exist.
To help develop local businesses and in turn create jobs, it is important that we beautify the area to make it attractive to consumers. One way I am addressing this is by pushing for long-overdue capital projects.
The wave of the future is going green and using available resources to diminish our waste, expenses and impact on the environment while maximizing profit.

3. How do you give back to the community?

I was elected to represent my community and I will continue to fight tirelessly in city government to bring back real results to our neighborhoods.
