Joseph A. Lane

Joseph A. Lane of Flushing passed away on July 3.
Lane was a Korean War veteran and retiree of the New York City Fire Department after 41 years of service.
Devoted husband of Ann (née Montone) and loving brother of James and the late Thomas.
He was also the adored uncle of Patricia Pohmer, Mary Ann Weverbergh, Thomas Lane, Christopher Lane, and Gregory Lane. The retired veteran is survived by 20 great nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were handled by the Martin A. Gleason Funeral Home in Flushing. A Mass of Christian burial was held at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church and interment was at Mount St. Mary’s Cemetery.
