QueensCourier.com is looking for web editorial interns to help out with our online events calendar and other work for the site. Most of the work can be done from home, but occasional visits to our Bayside office may be necessary. Other duties include reporting, writing and aggregating stories for the web, and taking photos to post on our Twitter and Facebook page. A car is a plus but not a necessity.

The LIC Courier, a monthly arts magazine for Long Island City, is looking for interns to help with writing articles, attending events, organizing furniture items (calendars, dining, scene, BINS etc.) and other editorial duties. Applicants must possess spot news and feature writing skills. Interests must be in art, music, fashion, dining and/or nightlife. A car is a plus but not a necessity.
Interns do not need to be in the office daily, but they will need to do work from home.
The magazine is also looking for interns to help with updating Facebook, Twitter and regular website. Interns must have not just a knowledge of social media but a complete immersion, overseeing Twitter and Facebook accounts. They must be able to navigate the back end of a website and keep up on posts several times daily.
