Gillibrand visits Queensbridge Houses

During a recent visit to Long Island City, United States Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (second from right), toured the New York City Housing Authority’s (NYCHA) Queensbridge Houses. During the tour Gillibrand was joined by NYCHA Chair John Rhea (left to right) Congressmember Carolyn Maloney, Councilmember Jimmy Van Bramer, East River Development Alliance (ERDA) Chair Bishop Mitchell Taylor and Assemblymember Catherine Nolan. They had a chance to see the modernized boiler plants that are being funded through Housing and Urban Development money. Gillibrand was also able to visit ERDA and met with members of the Credit Union. – Pete Davis
