Cops ask for help with finding robbery suspect

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in regard to a grand larceny that occurred within the 114 Precinct.

A woman was robbed of her purse on Halloween at Cavo restaurant at 42-18 31st Avenue. The purse contained a Chase debit card and

was subsequently used by the suspect in several locations to purchase items totaling almost $1,000.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic female in her 30s, with light brown long hair in a ponytail, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and dark gray pants.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
