Praise for President Obama

By Queens Courier Staff |

I would like to praise President Barack Obama for coming down to ground zero and laying a wreath to honor all those who died on that day of infamy on 9/11. He also who met with the families of those who died and the heroes like the firemen and police officers who tried to save lives on that day.
A promise was made by then President George Bush and was finally fulfilled by President Obama that those evil doers would be brought to justice. Osama bin Laden, the mastermind, misjudged America. We would never forget, tire and would persevere no matter how long it would take to bring justice for those who died on that day.
I also want to commend the president’s visit to Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He had personally thanked the U.S. Navy Seals for a job well done. As President Obama said,” The terrorist leader that struck on 9/11 will never threaten America again.” It can now be said a promise was made and kept.
He also met with the rest of the troops there and thanked them for protecting our nation. In my opinion I believe that the many men and women who have volunteered to serve our country have done so with devotion, duty, commitment and a great deal of love of country. American owes these brave men and women a wealth of gratitude and we all must not ever forget these valiant men and women, some of whom have paid with their lives. May God Bless America.
