1I had always thought a person was innocent until proven guilty by a court of law. The media seems to be bent on crucifing Greg Kelly who is the son of police commissioner Ray Kelly, before he has had his day in court.
Greg Kelly defended our country as a Marine combat pilot and therefore defended the Constitution which is the basis for our democracy. According to news media accounts, the accuser was texting Greg Kelly before and after the alleged rape and waited three months to accuse Kelly.
In my opinion the accuser’s accusation seems to be most questionable. If Greg Kelly is innocent than to be wrongly accused and to have his career destoyed by those in the media is a grave injustice to one who has defended our country..
I totally agree with you. I don’t know why the accuser has the right to anonimity and the accused has his name dragged through the mud without even being charged. It is blatantly unfair, especially in this case when everything we read seems to indicate her allegations are untrue.
