From The Borough President

Saturday, December 8, 2007 2:28 PM EST
Dear Friends:

This wonderful Key to Queens will help you unlock a world of possibilities you can find in the world’s most ethnically diverse borough.

As Borough President, I have the privilege of serving a county with a growing population of more than 2 million residents, stadiums that host world class sporting events, thousands of tasty restaurants, and exciting cultural institutions.

With a multitude of festivals and historical landmarks here in Queens, many visitors and residents take time to participate in the wonderful activities we have to offer. Since Queens is home to individuals from around the corner to around the world, the Unisphere, located in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, is considered to be our unofficial symbol of diversity.

On behalf of all the people of Queens and all that

our beloved borough has to offer, welcome to the Key to Queens. Browse through and keep it as a handy

reference guide.

From Astoria to Rockaway - Visit Queens and See the World!

Sincerely yours,

HELEN M. MARSHALL

Queens Borough President
