Drop-off locations for critical supplies

Help the victims of the Haiti earthquake

If you want to help the following are some drop-off locations for supplies to aid the Haiti earthquake victims:

Councilmember James Sanders’ district office: 234-26 Merrick Boulevard in Rosedale, 718-527-4356.

Councilmember Peter Vallone Jr.’s district office: 22-45 31st Street, Astoria, 718-274-4500.




Councilmember Leroy Comrie’s district office: 113-43 Farmers Boulevard in St. Albans, 718-776-3700.

Church of the Nazarene: 1414 Central Avenue in Far Rockaway, call 718-327-5242 for hours.

Bethesda Church of God located at 226-09 Merrick Boulevard in Laurelton, call 347-599-7884 for times.

The main items requested, in bulk, include:

Bottled water; toiletries including toothbrushes, toothpaste, feminine napkins, deodorant, lotions; hand sanitizers; diapers (all sizes); baby food and formula; non-perishable/dry foods; lift-top can goods; clothing and undergarments; socks and shoes; first-aid items including Band-Aids, gauze, adhesive tape, disposable gloves, masks, alcohol, Betadine, intravenous needles, local anesthesia, Advil, aspirin, Tylenol, Motrin; blankets and garbage bags.
