Honored for NASA uplinks

Simcha Waisman, president of the One Stop Richmond Hill Community Center (left) and director Joan Bachert (right) presented Neme Alperstein, director of the after-school program, with an award for her hard work and dedication. “This community center had the vision,” said Alperstein, who is integral in coordinating uplinks with NASA and the International Space Station, among others.
