The Forest Hills Choir presents an eclectic Christmas Concert in Astoria!

The Forest Hills Choir presents its beautiful, eclectic Christmas Concert in Astoria's Church of the Redeemer!
The joyful spirit of the season will be celebrated as the Forest Hills Community Choir sings John Rutter's beautiful Magnificat and other works by de la Victoria, William Ryden and Rhonda Polay on Sunday, December 16th at 6:30 p.m. at Church of the Redeemer, 30-14 Crescent Street in Astoria, NY. Emphasizing the "community" in "community choir", pieces by celebrated Forest Hills resident composer Bill Ryden will be performed, "Rejoice and Be Merry, a Ragtime Christmas Carol, and a supremely uplifting rendition of "Joy to the World!" "Lully, Lullay", a lullaby by the Virgin Mary to the Christ Child and a blues style "Silent Night" round out the program. With MaryAnne Paquin-Robinette, soprano. Todd Wachsman, conductor. Suggested Donation at the Door: $10. Come early to get a good seat! Take the N train, get off at 30th Avenue. Easy street parking.
