Meat carving demo by Master Chef at Fairview Market

Imagine winning 130 pounds of Prime Beef, custom cut into steaks of every kind -- top round sirloin tip roasts, rolled rump roasts, London Broil, stew beef, ground beef -- carved to perfection by Ray Venezia, master butcher of Fairway Market.  For one lucky shopper this is reality!  The winner of the hindquarter giveaway raffle from the stores’ November opening day, will pick up her prize -- worth more than $1,200 -- on Wednesday, January 11th at 10:30 a.m.  Venezia will custom carve and wrap each portion of  beef.   He will explain just where the different meats come from, the most economical, the most tender and more to help educate the public.
