Police are looking for a suspect wanted in connection with forcibly touching a 12-year-old girl.
The suspect approached the girl around 7:40 a.m. yesterday on the southbound 7 train platform of the Woodside station. He started to touch her from behind, police said, and then got on the train.
He’s described as a 28- to 35-year-old Hispanic man between 5’4″ and 5’6″, and was last seen with a red messenger bag.
Anyone with information on this matter is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.

Will some community board, activist, local politicians-Latino or otherwise, or women’s group / concerned parents’ group please advocate for teaching Hispanic men, foreign-born men, especially, to keep their hands to themselves? Why are they doing these “forcible touching” in public places so much?
Will someone also teach our young American girls to fight back against these smarmy foreign pervs — scream and kick them in their “private zones.” Or jab them in their hands with a sharp object — these types are usually cowardly and will go away when counter-threatened or attacked in kind. It’s happened to me twice, years apart, by Latino men, the last and third time by a white middle-aged man sitting next to me on the subway. When I showed him my opened pen knife, he got up and left, before moving his hand anywhere past next to my leg. Beyond creepy and definitely un-American so why do American women put up with this hostile behavior?
