14-year-old shot to death on Queens bus

A 14-year-old girl was shot in the head and killed aboard a Queens bus Saturday night, said police.

The teen, identified as D’aja Robinson, was on the Q6 bus at Sutphin Boulevard near Rockaway Boulevard in Jamaica around 9 p.m. when she was struck.

Robinson was part of a group that had recently left a sweet 16 party and had just boarded the bus when the shooting occurred, according to published reports. A man from the street allegedly fired around 9 shots at the bus.

NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly said police are looking for a suspect between the ages of 18 and 25 who was last seen wearing a black sweater, according to reports.

    This is a tragedy….in 2003 my nephew was shot in the head on 118th street on Supthin Blvd. on May 17 and died from his injuries on May 19th. My heart goes out to the family and friends. Community let’s get this shooter off the streets….
