Victor Lin Quartet

Flushing Town Hall

The Victor Lin Quartet will perform at Flushing Town Hall, located at 137-35 Northern Boulevard, at 8 p.m. on Friday, February 18.

Lin is a jazz pianist, composer and educator.

Lunar New Year Festival

Flushing Library, located at 41-17 Main Street, will hold a Lunar New Year Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 19.

The event will include a Korean food preparation demonstration at 10 a.m.; floral arrangement workshop at 11:30 a.m.; Korean dance at 1:30 p.m.; and a performance by The Orient Wind Ensemble at 3 p.m.

‘The Meeting’

York College Performing Arts Center

The play “The Meeting” will be performed at the York College Performing Arts Center, located at 94-20 Guy R. Brewer Boulevard in Jamaica, at 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 19.

It is a conversation between Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.

Tango Buenos Aires

Queensborough Performing Arts Center

Tango Buenos Aires will perform at the Queensborough Performing Arts Center, located at 222-05 56th Avenue in Bayside, at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 20.

The 12-member group is from Argentina and has performed in the Americas, Europe and the Far East.

Tickets cost $42, $39 and $35.
