Robbery suspect sought

103rd Precinct

Downtown Jamaica Business District, Hollis Park Gardens, Hollis, Lakewood, and Jamaica

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with several robberies that have occurred within the confines of the 103rd Precinct.

In each incident the suspect enters the locations armed with a silver firearm and demands cash. He then removes money from the registers and flees on a BMX style bicycle. No injuries have been reported in any of the incidents.

The perp hit the following locations:

July 23 at Hollis Grocery, 109-14 176th Street

July 30 at Zapata Grocery Store, 168-144 Liberty Avenue

July 31 at Sutphin Mini Mart, 108-44 Sutphin Boulevard

August 4 at the Around the Clock Deli, 170-01 Jamaica Avenue

August 5 at Crown Fried Chicken, 106-13 Guy R. Brewer Boulevard

August 5 at the grocery store at 103-02 171st Street

August 6 at Jamaica Wash Laundry at 179-26 Jamaica Avenue

August 23 at 182-43 Jamaica Avenue (Jamaica Avenue Grocery)

August 23 at the T & M Deli at 171-42 Liberty Avenue

 

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, approximately 5’4′-5’10”, 140-175 pounds. In the first incident he was wearing a bandana over his face and a dark fisherman style bucket hat with a dark shirt and tan shorts.
