‘From Broadway to Tin Pan Alley’

“From Broadway to Tin Pan Alley with The Linda Ipanema Quartet” will be held at the Woodhaven Library at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 20.

The performance will feature Linda Ipanema and Stan Edwards. It will feature the music of composers and lyricists such as Gershwin, Porter and Rodgers & Hart, among others.

Summer Solstice

PS1 Contemporary Art Center

Saturday, June 20

“Summer Solstice at PS1: Blood Transfusion for a Ghost” will be held at the PS1 Contemporary Art Center from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, June 20.

Filmmaker Kenneth Anger is the inspiration for the events that will be featured during the performance.

Event participants will include artists Frank Haines and Blanko & Noiry, filmmaker Rose Kallal, curator Mark Beasely, psychedelic metal band Miracle Birth and poet Cedar Sigo.

‘The News in Revue’

Queens Theatre in the Park

There will be a performance of the musical revue “The News in Revue” at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 20 at Queens Theatre in the Park.

The show was originally produced for Off-Broadway in 1992 and later was a special on PBS. It went on to win five Emmy Awards.

Tickets are $25 or $23 for seniors and $20 for students.
