Detectives from the Major Case Squad are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted for two bank robberies.
The first incident occurred on December 18, 2007 at the Sovereign Bank at 24-28 34th Avenue. The second was on December 24 at the Alma Bank at 28-31 31st Street.
Police say the suspect, identified as Lakawn Towles, a.k.a. Laquain Bracy, 24, simulates a weapon, demands money and passes a note before fleeing.
He is described as 5’11”, 250 pounds.
Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
