Principal Madeline Curley of St. Kevin School in Flushing stands behind three of her math whizzes, who topped their competitors from grades 4-6 in an intermediate math bee. The contest was held on Monday, October 22 at the school, located at 40-50 195th Street. And the winners are: Anthony Bommarito (center), grade 5- first place; Evan Castillo, grade 4- second place and Lily-Ann Bergin, grade 5- third place. Now, that’s “sum” accomplishment.
